Climate
The climate of Tasmania is classified as cool temperate and the state experiences four distinct seasons. Summer, between December and February can be warm, but temperatures will not typically rise above about 24 degrees Celsius. Autumn, from March to May, is the most changeable season, while winter, from June to August is typically cool and wet. Temperatures are particularly low inland.
